Un año más, la Concejalía de Turismo de Cullera participa en Expovacaciones (Bilbao), uno de los principales eventos promocionales de la zona norte de España.
Expovacaciones es una de las citas a las que el municipio acude anualmente, una de las ferias fijas en el calendario de promociones nacionales de Cullera por la importancia que tradicionalmente tiene el mercado vasco para la ciudad.
En esta edición 2009, que se celebra del 7 al 10 de mayo en el Bilbao Exhibition Centre, Cullera continúa con la campaña iniciada en Fitur y posteriormente en la Feria de Turismo de la Comunidad Valenciana (TCV) y en el Saló Internacional del Turisme de Catalunya (SITC). El Plan de Dinamización del Producto Turístico “Cullera de Nou“ y la nueva propuesta a nivel de imagen que plantea dicho proyecto, son las principales novedades que la ciudad presenta en Bilbao.
Cullera busca transmitir también al mercado vasco el cambio que la ciudad va a experimentar en los próximos años, con la puesta en marcha de diferentes proyectos que concluirán con la creación de nuevos productos turísticos y la mejora de la imagen interna y externa del municipio.
Junto a ello, Cullera promociona toda su oferta hotelera, patrimonial y gastronómica, así como las fiestas locales, que se encuentran en fase de ser declaradas de interés turístico. Entre las novedades respecto a la oferta turística, Cullera sigue promocionando en Bibalo la “Escapada ambiental” que ya presentara en TCV.
