Cullera ha acogido las IX Jornadas Internacionales de Fotografía y Vídeo Profesional que organiza la Asociación de Fotógrafos Profesionales de Valencia. Las jornadas, que se celebraron del 6 al 9 de febrero, contaron con la participación de algunos de los mejores fotógrafos y videógrafos de Europa en los campos del reportaje social, fotografía de estudio, publicidad y moda, naturaleza, desnudo y post producción digital. En este sentido, cabe destacar la participación de la fotógrafa madrileña Ouka Leele (Premio Nacional de Fotografía, 2005), el suizo Oli Rust (finalista en la categoría de Moda y Belleza del Hasselblad Master 2010), el alicantino José Benito (fotografo español más galardonado en concursos internacionales de Naturaleza) o el catalán Guillem Ventura (autor de espectaculares spots publicitarios y de videoclips).
Las jornadas contaron con la asistencia de 200 congresistas llegados de diferentes puntos de la geografía española, pero también de otros países como Bélgica, Francia, Italia y Portugal.
Paralelamente, se celebró una feria con las últimas novedades del sector y diversas exposiciones fotográficas de la Colección de Honor de la Federación Española de Profesionales de la Fotografía y la Imagen (FEPFI) y de las obras nominadas a los IX Premios de Fotografía de la Comunitat Valenciana.
