El Instituto para la Calidad Turística Española (ICTE) ha concedido a la Tourist Info Cullera Playa, la certificación ‘Q’ de calidad turística en reconocimiento a la implantación de su sistema de calidad. La implantación de este sistema que ha contado con la financiación del Plan de Dinamización del Producto Turístico y presenta como objetivo fundamental alcanzar la excelencia tanto en su gestión interna como en el servicio de información que se presta a visitantes y turistas.
La “Q” de las oficinas de información turística forma parte de la norma europea UNE (AENOR), una iniciativa enmarcada dentro de la estrategia para la mejora de la calidad del sector turístico que cuenta con el apoyo de la Secretaría de Estado de Turismo. Esta norma representa una herramienta de gestión que permite asegurar los aspectos fundamentales en el proceso de prestación del servicio de información y acogida. Asimismo, entre otros aspectos, la “Q” del ICTE pone de relieve el compromiso del establecimiento certificado por alcanzar la plena satisfacción del cliente ofreciéndole un servicio excelente. En este sentido, solamente aquellos establecimientos que garanticen los niveles de calidad establecidos por la normativa pueden obtener la Q, siendo imprescindible superar toda una serie de pruebas de carácter objetivo establecidas en los reglamentos pertinentes.
La Tourist Info Cullera Playa desarrolla una intensa labor informativa con el fin mantener los mayores niveles de satisfacción de los turistas que visitan la localidad. Durante el año 2009 esta oficina atendió a más de 15.000 visitantes (24% extranjeros). La oficina Tourist Info Playa, la oficina Centro y la oficina del Faro, informan a los visitantes en cinco idiomas (valenciano, español, inglés, francés y alemán) sobre la agenda cultural y lúdica, los recursos patrimoniales y naturales, la oferta de alojamiento, restauración y ocio activo, los horarios de instalaciones y transportes públicos, etc.
La Concejalía de Turismo de Cullera seguirá apostando decididamente por la calidad como estrategia básica para la gestión de la competitividad y la mejora continua del servicio, todo ello en pro de seguir ofreciendo el mejor servicio y los mayores niveles de satisfacción a la demanda vacacional.
